Who is your favorite comedian?
Hands-down, Bill Cosby. Listening to his records growing up inspired me to be a comedian. Watching his command of the stage now continues to inspire me.

Who is your favorite actor?
John Cusak and Michelle Pfeiffer

What is your favorite CXP game?
Chain-Death Murder? I’m not sure.

Where were you born?
Wisconsin, can you believe it?!

What do you do at CXP?
Direct, act, perform, host. I kind of do it all!

What is your favorite Des Moines activity?
That I can discuss publicly?

What is your favorite place in Des Moines?
I’m very comfortable on my couch right now.

Who is your favorite Des Moines personality?
Erin Moody before she broke my heart. Not that I know her; she got married before we could meet (thus the broken heart).

What is your most memorable moment at CXP?
It hasn’t happened yet.

Who are your influences as a performer?
Wayne Brady, Erin Crawford, Pete Calderone, Dan Walsh, Linda Williams, plus much much more!

Are you married? Do you have kids?
Yes, yes (one).

Why do you like improv?
The teamwork and the communication: When a good scene works, it’s fun to see all the performers working on the same page, making the same connections, and creating the same magic.

Why do you like CXP?
Now that we have the ball rolling on this endeavor, I’m looking forward to how big we can get in Des Moines.

What advice can you offer to improv students?
Commit to the scene, no matter how ludicrous. If you’re going to fail, fail big. Finally, funny hats are the key to improv.

What are your hobbies and interests?
ISU Cyclones, reading, writing, volleyball, softball, more reading.

Who would you most like to meet?
Living: The Cos, just to say thanks. Oh, and the guys from Rush.
Dead: Albert Einstein.

What is your favorite movie?
This is an incredibly difficult question. I mean, drama? Action? Adventure? If you force me to answer just one, I guess I’d go with The Usual Suspects.

How did you get started in improv?
I was living in Kansas City. My best friend and his cousin suggested I audition for Comedy Sportz (now Comedy City). Somehow, I made it and haven’t looked back since!

Anything else you'd like to share?
I know the secret of the Rimbaldi Device, but I ain’t tellin’!
